Introduction
Cana is the #1 wedding planning platform for Catholic and Christian couples. I led UI/UX design across a homepage refresh, a new vendor discovery experience, and a guest list management system all while keeping Christ at the center of the product.

The Problem
Catholic/Christian couples planning their weddings had no digital oasis built for them. Platforms like The Knot and Zola are technically capable but spiritually hollow, created without the intentionality deserving of the Sacrament of Marriage.
Cana existed to fill that gap. But as the platform grew, key features weren't keeping up: the homepage didn't communicate the product's full value, couples couldn't find faith-aligned vendors, and guest list management was fragmented and stressful.
The challenge was to design experiences that felt both modern and reverent, functional and friction eliminating to ensure the best user experience that could go toe to toe with the Knott and Zola

The Solution
The homepage hero was rebuilt around a single, faith-first headline, "Keep Christ at the center of your wedding." Along with feature cards below that surface the product's key features without overwhelming the user.
The vendor page was designed as a trust-first experience. Vendors aren't simply listed; they're presented as mission-aligned partners who share in the couple's commitment to a Christ-centered celebration.
The guest list dashboard was built to handle the sacramental complexity that Catholic weddings require. With native integrations for Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, couples can build and manage their guest list in a format that's intuitive, flexible, and stress-free.
The addition of a wedding blog transformed the platform into something deeper than a planning tool, it becomes a space where Catholic couples are formed in the teachings of the Church as they prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage. This is the all-in-one wedding planning platform, built for couples who believe their wedding day is more than an event.

Outcomes
The platform has grown to over 4,000 users. The mission remains clear: to ensure that the Catholic wedding planning experience draws couples closer to Christ, without the chaos and overwhelm that so often comes with it. Planning a sacramental wedding should be a grace-filled journey, not a source of stress, and that's exactly what this platform is built to deliver.
